Good Luck from AOA

AOA, Ace of Angels, finally came back as a group after a year of solo activities. In K-Pop, each group's album has a certain concept and with their song "Good Luck", it was a life guard concept. The music video featured the girls in life guard outfits, carrying out their duties as well as being around firetrucks. The concept alone got the attention of thousands of fans, saying that AOA always gets the best concepts and knows exactly what men find attractive. And the teaser pictures do not disappoint with both the Weekend and Weekday version.
The beat starts off with an aggressive horn and bass riff that don’t give its vocalists many chances to stand out, and a chorus that isn’t nearly catchy enough. The video is just like any other K-Pop music videos by throwing enough legs, bathing suits and slow-motion action shots to turn “Good Luck” into something of a Baywatch tribute.

Jimin, the rapper of AOA, was able to show her personality in the song with her rap that got famous on Unpretty Rapstar. However, during her scenes, the editors failed to catch the underboob which flashed a few times throughout the videos that fans have caught. This, along with a car logo failed to be blurred, caused the video to be deleted an hour after its release to blur out the scenes.

Despite the controversy with AOA and their two member's failure to know the basic history of Korea, the group was able to win first place on 'The Show' and 'Show Champion', the remaining music shows are to be determined by the end of the week.
