The Comeback Wave

It's standard for K-pop groups to come back at least once a year in order to keep their fans satisfied and to recruit more fans to join their hype. The best season for groups to make their comeback with an album is the summer where fans, mostly teenagers, are free from school and have time to stream their music and music videos to raise the views and vote all night long. Summer also provides fans time to attend concerts, fanmeetings, and make money to buy their albums. Most girl groups come back around this time to showcase their sexiness, such as SISTAR who has made summer comebacks their trademark. There's certainly no summer without SISTAR.
With the spring season almost approaching summer, groups have already released their comeback plans. This is a list of the most recent comebacks we have seen from late May.

Kim Jonghyun, She Is

Jonghyun, a member of SHINee, made his solo comeback with a full studio album. Though SHINee hasn't promoted together as five in years, Jonghyun and member Taemin have both been releasing their solo albums and exploring their artistic ways. Jonghyun composed most of the songs on his albums, showcasing his style and vocal color. Aside from the title track, I recommend 'White T-Shirt' and 'Dress Up'.

Crystal Clear (CLC), NU.CLEAR

 Crystal Clear (CLC) made their comeback with their center being Eunbin after her rise of popularity from Produce 101. The group has been unsuccessful in gathering lots of attention compared to other new girl groups like TWICE and I.O.I but they're holding their head up high. They promised if they win 1st place, they'd all shave their heads.

FIESTAR, Apple Pie

FIESTAR have been unsuccessful in gathering attention as a group despite debuting years ago, However, member Cao Lu was able to turn heads for her wittiness on variety shows. She transformed FIESTAR into a group to watch. With their sweet new single, Apple Pie, the group has been trying to ride the hype of their member. The music video is a typical K-pop concept of bright and popping colors and a catchy chorus and dance for fans. Cao Lu's on-screen husband, Jo Seho, also made a cameo at the end of the music video.

EXID, Street

EXID, Exceed In Dreaming, made their comeback, promising a new style of music. The group became popular after member Hani's fancam went viral and Solji got recognized for her singing talents. The song features sexy moves for member Junghwa to shine. The music video had been under controversy for the many sexual innuendos throughout the whole video, practically plastering on 69 on everything possible.
