| Mochi ice cream has a variety of flavors |
Mochi
Mochi is made of glutinous rice that is pounded into paste and molded into a certain shape, typically a ball. Mochi can be eaten at any time, but it is a traditional food during the Japanese new year and is sold a lot around that time. Other Japanese snacks and confectioneries contain mochi in them, such as daifuku, which is mochi with fillings such as red bean inside and dango, a dumpling that is normally served with green tea. Mochi can also be made into ice cream in order to add texture. People suggest that you cut mochi before eating it because some people have choked due to it's squishy composition.

This post was interesting because I like mochi ice cream but I didn't know what mochi is actually made from.
