The first mini-album: With Love, J.
Jessica Jung, born Jung Sooyeon, finally released her solo mini-album with two music videos, Fly and Love Me the Same. The song impressed due to such low expectations since she had last left Girl's Generation. Fans rejoiced as they were able to hear Jessica's unique vocal color after years of waiting for this solo. Jessica, former member of Girl's Generation, and Tiffany, current member, are currently promoting at the same time making fans separate into either #TeamSica and #TeamTiffany.
Simple shots of fashionista Jessica
Jessica, despite leaving a huge company and the most popular group in Asia, is doing well on the charts and in views. She topped several charts at number one after her release and her video was able to hit more than 2 million views in under 24 hours which is a feat for any artist. She proved to fans that she was still popular and loved despite the hate for her being kicked out (or left) the group.
Fans after the song finally came out
The music video, was produced by Jessica's boyfriend's new music label and it offered beautiful shots of her and the landscape but wasn't much of a story line. It featured cute and simple dance moves for the infamous "lazy-sica". The video matched the song and complimented each other with light colors with light vocals. Fabulous featured in the song, and unlike Jessica's sweet voice, his was calm and smooth. Like his song said, "Me and Jessica that's a win automatically". And in this case, it was.
